Herzlied is a music project from Germany. Since 2024, new songs have been released regularly, always with the goal of telling stories and bringing emotions to life through music. The project originally began in 2016 and has carried the name Herzlied since 2025.
At its heart are authentic songs that invite listeners to reflect, connect, and see parts of their own lives in the music. The fireworks symbol has accompanied the project since its early days and represents the wide range of human emotions. Each song explores themes such as love, friendship, hope, loss, longing, and personal growth. Music to reflect on, connect with, and remember.
Emotional music inspired by real stories and life experiences

Musically, Herzlied blends elements of pop, schlager, electronic pop, and ballads, creating songs that tell stories many people can relate to from their own lives. Alongside studio releases such as Wann wird es wieder echt?, Sunlit Paths, and Sternenreise, Herzlied also performs live vocals. The next major milestone is the YouTube premiere of Journey of Emotions, scheduled for December 31, 2026 — a recorded live vocal performance featuring music, personal reflections, and stories about the experiences that connect people.
The Albums
How did Herzlied's journey into music and songwriting begin?
Herzlied's passion for music began during his school years. As early as fifth or sixth grade, he started writing simple rhymes and short texts. What began as fun and creative ideas gradually grew into a desire to express stories, thoughts, and emotions through music.
Over time, these first attempts developed into more elaborate songs and original melodies. One of the earliest successes was the track Energie, which gained attention locally and encouraged him to continue pursuing his musical ideas. Even at a young age, Herzlied experimented with digital music software, creating melodies and combining them with his own lyrics.
An important milestone was the song Steig mit mir zum Himmel rauf, originally written in 2016 or 2017. After receiving a professional production, the song was released on streaming platforms in 2024 and reached a wider audience.
The foundations of Herzlied's songwriting journey were therefore laid during his school years. From simple rhymes and musical experiments, the project gradually evolved into what is now Herzlied. To this day, the goal remains the same: creating authentic songs, memorable melodies, and emotional stories that connect with listeners.
Which instrument inspires Herzlied the most?
Herzlied does not have a single favorite instrument. He is especially fascinated by the combination of electronic beats and guitar, as it creates a sound that feels both modern and emotional. This unique blend can also be heard in the song Wann wird es wieder echt?.
In general, Herzlied enjoys experimenting with different sounds and musical styles. His songs and remixes often feature electronic pads, house elements, and other contemporary influences. Looking ahead, he can also imagine incorporating violins into his music to add even more emotion and depth to his songs.

Will Herzlied release more English songs in the future?
Yes. Several English-language songs can already be found on the album Sunlit Paths, and Herzlied plans to continue releasing music in both English and German.
Some themes and emotions feel more direct and natural to express in English, while other stories and feelings sound especially honest and personal in German. Rather than limiting himself to one language, Herzlied chooses the one that best fits the message and emotion of each song.
This allows every story to be told in the way that feels most authentic.
Would Herzlied collaborate with other artists?
In general, yes. Herzlied enjoys working with people who want to turn their ideas, stories, or emotions into music. In the past, several songs have been created together with friends, acquaintances, and fellow hobby musicians who contributed their own lyrics, experiences, or creative ideas.
